Home decor | Shabby Chic

Happy Tuesday,
I hope you are doing great.

This is Meher from Meher Creations. I'm back on the blog pretty quick with another post created using the super gorgeous Mudra chipzeb. I am just so addicted to chipzeb because of the super amazing quality and designs.
Today I've two shabby chic projects. One is a jewelry box and other one is a shabby chic Wall Frame.

1. Jewelry box: I love handmade products because they are unique and handcrafted with love. As I'm working on my craft studio these days, I'm try to keep it shabby chic with all beautiful shabby chic projects displayed on the shelves. I created a jewelry box on Victorian theme to keep it on the table filling it with a lot of blings. I'm totally in love with it.
Find the step by step instructions below.

Step by step instructions:
  • Take a mdf box and start painting using the home decor sheep skin chalk paint. Dry it using hair dryer and give another coat of paint.
  • Pick some pattern papers randomly and cut them according to the dimensions of the box. I've picked some Victorian themed papers to create my box.
  • Distress all the edges using tea dye ink.
  • Adhere all the pieces using tacky glue.
  • Pick a victorian frame and some fillers from Mudra chipzeb. Give a base with the paper and adhere foam tape behind it.
  • Stick the frame on the box and pick some flowers in different colors, some hemp cord,  twine, clear crystal drops in different sizes, blings and pearls to embellish the frame.
  • Start sticking the hemp cord and twine randomly using glue and then the flowers and chipzeb as per your choice.
  • Stick some sentiments or stamped images on the box.
  • Your box is now ready.

2. Shabby chic frame: This is my favorite frame and I've created this to decorate my studio wall. I have one frame to share with you today and my studio wall will have four more which are yet to be embellished in near future. I love shabby chic projects and so I've my studio on the same theme.

Step by step instructions:
  • Pick a large resin frame and paint it using the home decor chalk paint. Let it dry.
  • Give another coat of paint.
  • Varnish it using modpodge matte varnish.
  • Pick two round Mudra chipzeb frames, other chipzeb filler leaves, flowers, help cord, cheese cloth, a picture and assemble together.
  • Stick them using hot glue and your Francis ready.
Glimpse of studio wall.

Hope you like my projects!
