Hi! Nandini here with some fresh inspiration for the month, using some new and fresh products from Mudra. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Love is definitely in the air! And that is our theme for the current challenge. I created three cards with some products from the January release.
Card 1:
Stencils are always fun to use and there are so many different looks we can get from them.
Here is another look at the finished card.
Card 2:
Mai Jet Black ink is my new favourite black ink and I decided to test it with my alcohol markers.
Here is a closer look at the colouring.

Card 3:
I had so much fun with my markers while making the previous card, that I decided to make another. Also, I could resist the cute image from the Tweet-heart set.
Here is another look at the completed card.
I hope you liked my cards and they inspire you to create something beautiful. The challenge for this month is

- Take a piece of white card stock and attach to the Crackle fx stencil.
- Sponge some Lemon Yellow Mai ink through the stencil.
- Repeat the process with Fuchsia Pink and Lilac inks, changing the angle of the stencil each time. The result is a gorgeous, multi-colored crackle background. Here is a closer look.
- Die-cut the panel and adhere it to a dark pink card base.
- Die-cut two hearts, one dark pink and a smaller pale pink.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Valentine's Day mini stamp set and heat emboss with white EP.
- Stamp only the 'You' from the 'I Love You' sentiment from the Be My Valentine set with Lilac ink. This is done easily by covering part of the stamp with tape and inking the rest.
- Adhere the larger heart with glue and add the second heart popped up with foam tape.

Card 2:
Mai Jet Black ink is my new favourite black ink and I decided to test it with my alcohol markers.
- Take a piece of white card stock and stamp the heart from the Floral Love stamp set with Mai Jet Black ink.
- Color it with alcohol markers. I did very simple coloring, since I am very new to the medium. I also outlined the word 'Love' with the black marker to give it more definition.
Here is a closer look at the colouring.
- Die-cut the panel along with another black mat.
- Arrange the black mat and the stamped panel on a gray card base such that they are slightly off-set and adhere with glue.

Card 3:
I had so much fun with my markers while making the previous card, that I decided to make another. Also, I could resist the cute image from the Tweet-heart set.
- Stamp the love birds from the Tweet-heart stamp set with Mai Jet Black ink.
- Colour with markers or any medium of choice.
- Ink the panel lightly with Mai Sky Blue ink. Adhere to an ivory card base. Here is a closer look at the coloured image.
- Die-cut a window through a panel slightly smaller than the card base.
- Use a stencil brush to ink the panel with Mai Flamingo Pink ink.
- Cover the panel with the Falling Hearts stencil and add more ink with an ink blender.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Floral Love stamp set with Mai Jet Black ink below the window. Since I wanted a softer look, I used second generation stamping.
- Adhere the panel with foam tape to the card base.
