Hello Lovelies,
Gayatri with you today. I have a video review on the blending property of Mai inkpads. In the process I made this using the new release stamp sets called Cute Couple and Be My Valentine. This card is also my take for this month's challenge.
First here is the card.
Here is the video tutorial
- My view on the blending property of Mai inkpads are that they are great for blending.
- Like any ink, start with a light hand and build the colour.
- Again, this ink will look patchy when wet and will smooth out to a beautiful blend once dry. Love that.
Here are some closeups of the card.

I have another card using the new Mandala #2 stencil and a rainbow of Mai colours ink pads.
- In my previous card, I blended colours from the same family.
- On this card, I blended a rainbow of colours.
- I used Ruby Red, Tangerine Orange, Lemon Yellow, Sky Blue and Ultra Violet Mai colours and brush to sponge over Mandala #2 stencil. The Sky Blue over Lemon Yellow made the green. Cool huh!
- Then applied a thin layers of Nuvo Moonstone glimmer paste.
- This paste adds glitter only so the colours show through.
- The sentiment is made using Sparkle die, cut using black and white cardstock. Stacked and glued for dimension.
- The secondary sentiment is from Sparkle stamp set. Stamped in black over Ruby Red and Tangerine Orange sponged cardstock strip.
Here are some closeups of the card.
