Mudra Craft Stamps: Playing with patterns and colours!

Hello everyone,

This is Gayatri with you today. I have a set of four cards to share with you. They are playful with pattern and bright beautiful colours. Hope you enjoy it.

I sponged few backgrounds using Mudra's Mai inks. I will list them all in the supplies.
I used Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the green colours.
I sponged the background panels I sponged them lightly. So when I added patterns using Mudra stencils over them, I sponged the same colours a big heavily so the patterns shows on the coloured background.
I trimmed the green background as a landscape grass mound.
I will list all the Mudra stencils I used on the background in the supply list below.
I stamped and coloured the images from Cutie Tweety stamp set using copic markers.
I hand cut them all out.
I added the green landscape mound on top of the background panels.
Stamped the branches from the stamp set on the background panels using black ink.
Adhered the coloured handcut images on the panels using foam adhesives.
Sentiment is from Purely Sentiment Labelled stamp set.
Simply stamped them in black ink, cut out and adhered using foam adhesives.
Finally adhered the panel on the card base using craft foam
Added white nuvo drops to finish off the card.

I love the patterns on the top and bottom of the background panel. They are big patterns and not the same patterns on both the panels. Rule of the design is not to combine two different large patterns together. But you can do so if they are tone on tone rather than high contrast. Hope you like these cards.
