Hey all!!

Its Sunday, YAY!! We have our super creative designer and crafter with us today, its none other than Seema Sinha. We all have been enjoying her creations in the form of stamps, here we see some of her crafting!!

Seema's contract as Signature Designer is gonna be over, where she had been exclusively designing for Mudra Team for past 6 months. You can still expect her designs in queue and also she would continue to design for Mudra even after this!! We can't miss an amazingly talented artist!! <3

"Hello to all my creative fellows,

I have something to share with you all. My contract for ‘Signature Designer’ is coming to end now. It was indeed a great learning and working experience with you Varshitha and my coordinators. Thank you Varshitha for having trust on me. Going to miss our daily long chats.
Thought of sharing some of my projects using my own designed stamps that I made for Mudra in my term.
There could be nothing better than writing a Guest designer post for my last day of term.   I have couple of cute and exciting projects to share with you all using my designed stamps for Mudra. Trust me designing stamps sets is real fun and creating something using my designed stamps is totally a great feeling.

In my first project I have used 2 to 3 Mudra stamp sets all together to make complete scene. Yes! It’s a 10x12 ‘ FAIRIES IN MY BEAUTIFUL GARDEN’ layout. Hope you all gonna love this.

In the first step I stamped so many images of leaves, flowers, trees, Bushes, Fairies etc using masking technique (yes all the motifs are made using stamps only ) isn’t it exciting??

In the second step I have colored them using watercolors (my all time favorite medium)

I have coloured a separate layer of bushes and leaves to give lil bit of 2D look . I have added lil bit of colours on the background as well.

Created some cute cutouts from different stamp sets like critters set, fairy set to add some layers.

This is how I completed the coloring part. Final assembling of cutouts has changed the over all look of this layout. In the last step I have used some glitters and shiny flat backs over the flowers. Added few sentiments too to give weightage to the overall look.

And it all done!!

In my next project I am delighted to showcase one of my favorite stamp set in the form of a beautiful card. Here is the step-by-step instruction.

1. Take 1 piece of 10*6 any beautiful printed card stock of your choice. Fold it from the center to make a card base.  Then take 1 piece of 4.5* 5.5 white card stock. I have use distress ink to color the background.

2. Take another piece of 4*5 white card stock. I have stamped the image and sentiment. In the next step, I have colored it using watercolors.

3. Distressed the sides of both the pieces to pop them out from the background.

4. Now the assembling … I have used double side tape to make the layers and used some doilies to beautify the project. .

5. Once the layering is done, I filled the glossy accent on the visible area of the second layer. Immediately I have sprinkled the glitter dust over the glossy accent. Keep it aside for half an hour, so that it dries properly. It will give a nice dimensional effect to the sides with a beautiful glittery effect. Pasted few flat backs to the card.

And the final card is all set! "
