Rakshabandhan Stamp Designing by Seema Sinha | Behind the Scene

Hey

Varshitha here with Seema for a small Behind the scene post for all curious crafters out there!!

"Hello to all my creative fellows,

I am excited to be here on Mudra’s blog ….  I just thought to share lil more in the making of our most adorable and cutest Rakshabandhan stamp set from Mudra.

Yes ! am sure each one us can relate this adorable pic with our real life too.

Trust me none of our stamps gets ready in one go. There are 3 minds involved to make each stamp set. A designer, coordinator and Varshitha, we all try our best to give you the best J

For this particular stamp set, we started with a thought, that how we as siblings grow up (fighting, caring, teasing…)

Designing this was real fun😄 as I could relate it with me and my brother. I designed at least 10 to 12 drafts. Then we selected one or two drawings of those scrabbles drawings. Sharing few of them (yes these are only few 😔

Now the lengthiest process starts…yes converting that final draft to a finished and perfect drawing (it takes time because we focus on expression, figures, proportion, cuteness and all).

I would love to share some of our real time chats and confusions…lol…when it comes to quality… we don’t spare even a tiny toe😊

Once we all agreed on the final pose, expression and all, it was time to convert into a vector. Brain storming for sentiments is another big deal, because it has to perfectly match with the picture. And the final stamp is all set!!

This stamp is currently on my table to make some cards to go along handmade Rakhis!!

Love,
Seema Sinha
