"Hello crafty friends...
Sindhu here from Colors of craft.I am really
excited to do guest designing for Mudra stamps.Thank you Varshitha and Mudra
Team for this wonderful opportunity. I am a SAHM for two lovely kid. From
childhood I have great interests in crafting and I tried my hands
on flower making, sewing, embroidery, weaving and painting. Few years back
while searching for school project I came to know about quilling and started
doing paper crafts. I love flower making, recycling, quilling and interactive
cards.
I am sharing few embellishments which I made using Mudra
stamps, sequins and dies.
Embellishment #1
For this butterfly embellishments,
- First I stamped the butterfly from butterfly flutters stamp
set using distress oxide and fuzzy cut them.
- For antenna I used a floral wire, wrap the two ends of the
wire and bend them.
- Sandwich the antenna between two butterflies using foam
tape.
- Decorated it with handmade flowers, leaves and
sequins.
- Glitters are added to give more interest.
Embellishment #2
Similarly I made these mini butterflies using same stamp set.
Embellishment #3
- For banners I stamped few
words using brushed alpha letters stamp set and fussy cut them.
- Distressed it using distress
oxide.
- For the base I cut few
banners in pattern paper.
- The words are then layered
with a heart punch out.
- Then I added few stamped
butterfly from butterfly flutters and Mudra sequins - Gold.
Embellishment #4
- I die cut few flowers from vellum sheets using Mudra Cut
3 gardenia die.
- Colored it from back using distress oxides.
- I pinch the tip of the petal with my fingers.
- Layered two large flowers and one small flower.
- For the center I used pollen.
Hope you all like my take on this month challenge.
Once again I thank Varshitha and team for giving me this
opportunity.
Happy Crafting,
Sindhu"
