Mixedmedia: Altered boxes

Hello Everyone!

Uma here with you with new projects. I have created two altered box. I have made these projects featuring Mudra's chipzeb. Did you check Mudra's new release. Mudra has launched amazing designs of stencils which are perfect for card making , mixed media and any other art form. You can check all the designs of stencils here.

Now come to my projects. 

1.Princess box : 

•  Take a raw mdf box and applied a thick layer of heavy white gesso. 
• Create a texture using modelling paste and Mudra's mandala stencil.
• Glue some mdf emblishment and metal charm using soft matt gel.
• Color the box with acrylic color.
• Highlight the box with aged brass wax using dry brush technique. 
• Color the chipzeb with aged brass wax and glue them as shown in the picture. 
• For the finished look apply soft matt gel on the box and dust golden chunks.

2. Altered gift box: 

• Applied gesso on raw mdf box and color it using acrylic color.
• Adhered the pattern paper on the box using mod podge as shown in the picture. 
• Create two flowers using Mudra's Gardenia die.
• Take a heart die cut and stamp a sentiment using deep purple archival ink .
• Glue the mini micro pearls on the heart to give it a frame look.
• Color a chipzeb using deep purple archival ink. Glue the chipzeb on the centre of the  box .
• Glue heart frame on the chipzeb. Arrange the flowers and flourish chipzeb and paste them using hot glue gun.
• For inside the box glue a picture.
• Glue some half pearls, flowers  and a sentiment chipzeb as shown in the picture.
