Masking to Create a Garden Scene and Getting More out of your Sentiment Stamps

Hi there! It's Linda here today and it's so wonderful to see you here at the Mudra Stamps blog. What an incredibly inspiring place it is :)

Today I'd like to share two cards (and a video) with you. My first card features the fabulous "Sentiment In Circle" set. What great sentiments these are - too good to use just once on a card I thought :) - so I created my whole card front with my chosen sentiment stamp -

1. Choose a rainbow of ink colours and stamp the circle sentiment in rainbow order down the card front.
2. Stamp 'to you' using the Brushed Alphas stamp set, in permanent black ink on vellum and cut into a strip.
3. Mat this strip with glittered paper and adhere across the base of the card.
4. Die cut tiny stars from the same glittered paper and adhere between the circular sentiments.

My second card features the challenge technique this month - MASKING

Have you created a card for the challenge yet? We can't wait to see your work and there has certainly been a tonne of Masking ideas on the blog over the last two weeks to inspire you.

For my card I have created a garden scene using two sets - Linen Blooms and Grungy Butterfly.
Here is my card...

I have created a video to show you the whole masking process and how my card was created from start to finish - please enjoy it below or in High Definition on the Mudra You Tube Channel.
