Varshitha here, Welcome to another month of Mudra Craft Stamps monthly challenge.

Thank you for joining us last month and we hope you will all join us again this month too. We have some pretty Inspiration projects from Nandini and Manu!!

CHALLENGE #31 - FLORAL LOVE

Yeah! You can include any form of florals in your projects like watercoloring, stamping, handmade florals. And you can make anything such as Cards, Tags, 3D projects, Mixed media, Scrapbook Albums, Layouts, ATCs etc. But don't forget to include Mudra product!

Inspiration from Nandini Karmakar

"Hi! Nandini here with some more ideas for using the Mai inks. I have been using these inks for the past several days and I absolutely love them!

Card 1:

Mai inks are very good for water colouring. They maintain their brightness even when diluted which makes them perfect for creating beautiful backgrounds.

Take a piece of watercolour paper.
Stamp the Magnolia stamp around the paper with embossing ink and heat emboss with white EP.
Dilute the Mai inks one at a time and apply in stripes of colour with a large flat brush. I used the colours in the rainbow order. The inks I used are - Ruby Red, Tangerine Orange, Lemon Yellow, Sky Blue, Cornflower Blue and Ultra Violet. I used Memento ink for the green.
Once the panel was dry, I went back with the same inks and added them to the image. This darkened the colours and made the image pop out. Here is a closer look at the panel.

The sentiment is from the Fresh Cut Roses. I stamped and heat embossed it on a piece of grey paper. I also darkened the grey colour a bit by sponging with some dark grey ink. Here is a closer look at the sentiment.

Die cut the finished panel and adhere it to a top folding grey card base. Add the sentiment panel, popped up on some foam tape. To finish, add a few clear jewels around the sentiment.

Card 2:
Ink blending is fun with the Mai inks. I combined it with stencils and die cutting for this card.

Cut two identical panels of ivory cardstock.
Die cut the flowers and leaves with the Gardenia die set. Set the die cuts aside for another project as we will be using the negative panel.
Lightly trace the die cut spaces on the second piece of paper with a pencil.
Block out different parts of the design with washi tape. Use finger daubers to blend Tangerine Orange, Lemon Yellow, Ruby Red and Flamingo Pink inks. Use any green ink for the leaves.
Cover the inked area with the Ornamental Pattern and Corner stencil and apply Ruby Red ink over the flowers and green ink over the leaves.
Adhere to the die cut panel. Here is a closer look at the completed panel.

Adhere the panel to a dark orange card base.
The sentiment is from the Carnations stamp set and stamped with Jet Black ink on a strip of green paper.
Pop up the sentiment panel with foam tape and adhere it to the card.
