Set of Three Simple Mixed Media Tags

For today's post, I've prepared a Set of 3 Simple Mixed Media Tags using Mudra's gorgeous supplies including their beautiful chipzebs, stencils, stamps, sequins & dye inkpads. So, let's start!

Set of 3 Simple Mixed Media Tags

 Tag 1: Wishing you the Best

Tag 2: Happy

Tag 3: Thank You

Process Used for the Tags:

1. Applied White gesso to the three tags

2. Applied Modelling paste through Mudra Stencils (Shell Pattern Stencil, Floral Fantasy Stencil & Waves Stencil) on each tag, to create background interest and texture

3. Added colors to each tag using different shades of Lindy's Gang Squirts. Sprayed with water to create a natural, blended look. Also colored pieces of seam binding ribbons with the same colors.  

4. Did background stamping using grey archival ink & Mudra Stamps (Beautiful Destination Stamp, Floral Love Stamp. Lakdi ki Kathi Stamp & Tweet Heart Stamp) 

5. Applied waxes to highlight the texture created using the stencils

6. Heat embossed the sentiments using Lindy's Gang Embossing Powders and Mudra Stamps (Birthday Stamp, Dainty Blooms II Stamp & Cross Stitch Rose Stamp) & matted the strips in black

7. Heat embossed Mudra Chipzebs (Music Chipzeb, Leaves 2 Chipzeb & Handdrawn Mandala Chipzeb) in white using Lindy's Gang Purely White Embossing Powder

8. Created white ink splatter on the tags and darkened their edges with Mudra's Jet Black Mai Premium Dye Ink Pad. 

9. Adhered the chipzebs and sentiment strips to the tags using matte gel, tied the colored seam binding ribbons to the tags and in the end adhered Mudra's Couture Sequins (Harvest Mix & Sugar Plum Mix) using Glossy Accents.
