Hope you'll doing well. So today I am sharing some valentine's day cards and I am sure you all are preparing something for your loved ones.
Let's see today's projects
1. Heat Embossing on Vellum Paper
- I started by die-cutting large intricate heart from red CS.
- Then I die-cut small hearts from golden glitter paper.
- After die-cutting, I stamped sentiments on a vellum paper using versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.
- Once everything done, I took watercolor paper and in a circular motion I blend Worn lipstick distress oxide ink with very light hand.
- Then with same oxide ink, I splatter some dots then Over it, I have placed large die-cut heart.
- On top of large die-cut heart, I have placed small hearts.
- I die-cut vellum heat embossed sentiment in a flag shape, and placed over the hearts.
- Before adhering watercolor panel to base card, I have blend the edges of the card with abandoned coral distress ink and also tied a knot .
- To complete the card, I have added some jewels.
2. Monkeys Love
- I started blending with non traditional valentine color which is abandoned coral and squeezed lemonade distress ink with very soft hand.
- Then I took a Falling Heart Stencil and again blend it with same distress ink colors with little bit heavy hands.
- Once the background is dried then I have die-cut the hearts and save those hearts for distress ink blending with same background colors, and again placed them to same place.
- I stamped monkey's from "5 little monkey" stamp set on a scrap watercolor paper, colored them with zig clean real brush markers and fussy cut them.
- Before adhering the monkeys on die-cut hearts, I have stamped sentiment with abandoned coral distress ink.
- To complete the card, I adhered some jewels randomly.
3. Heat Embossed Background
- I started with stamping with versamark ink on a watercolor paper and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
- Then I blend worn lipstick distress oxide and abandoned coral distress ink, to create an ombre background.
- I die-cut large circle with vellum paper and "Happy Valentine's Day" from gold glitter CS as well.
- Then I took the die-cut "Happy Valentine's Day" and adhered them on vellum heart.
- Adhered the heart on distress background. Heat embossed the sentiment on red cs and cut into flag.
- To complete the card, I have adhered some jewels.
4. Blending with Stencil
- I took a "Floral Flourish Mini 1" stencil and placed it over left corner of the watercolor paper and blend it with abandoned coral distress ink and twisted citron distress oxide ink.
- Then I cover the stencil background with some scrap paper and splatter some dots with black soot distress oxide.
- Once the background is dried, I stamped sentiment at the bottom of the floral background.
- To complete the card, I have drew border with black micron pen and adhered some jewels.
