"Hello dear friends,

Gayatri with you today bringing you inspiration cards for the December Inspiration Challenge. So the challenge is make a holiday card. Either Christmas or New Year. Well, I went through my stash and found I didn't have any Holiday themed stamp sets or dies. So I came up with making two holiday cards with using non holidays products. Hope you like them

Card #1

  • I used the Cracker Stencil to sponge silver ink as well as add silver embossing paste to frame the panel.
  • Then I sponged silver ink on the edges of the panel to add depth.
  • I rubbed versamark on the edges of the panel and gold heat embossed. Love gold and silver together. Adds to the holiday feel.
  • For the holiday sentiment, I used Alphabet Chipzeb. I silver heat embossed the top half and gold heat embossed the bottom half to get two toned sentiment.
  • I adhered this panel to to white card base and embellished with gold stickles and white and Snow Blizzard Nuvo crystal drops.

Card #2

For this card I used the Simple wreath Chipzeb to colour and a sentiment from Wishing You stamp set.

  • I coloured the Simple Wreath Chipzeb using Spectrum Noir glitter pens. So actually they are glittery.
  • On the card front panel, I rubbed versamark ink pad lightly from the top and bottom of the panel and gold heat embossed using Ranger gold glitter embossing powder.
  • I adhered the coloured simple wreath chipzeb on the center of the panel.
  • Sentiment is from Wishing You stamp set which I gold heat embossed, trimmed with fish tail banner ends and foam mounted on the centre of the wreath.
  • Embellished with Mudra gold seqins.

Hope you enjoyed my samples for the December Holiday card challenge using non holiday products. All supplies used the make these cards are listed below.
