Floral : Cards & Altered Projects

Hello Everyone!

Uma here with you to share some of my new projects to inspire you.  Hope you like them. I also listed pics of all the products below which I used in my projects.

1st Project



  • Take a raw canvas and apply heavy white gesso evenly. 
  • After drying mist it with colors.
  • Randomly stamp play with  line stamp and checker using black archival, also stamp some sentiment from Dream and Sparkle stamp.
  • Heat emboss some chipzeb using versamark and black embossing powder.
  • Glue a lace using hot glue gun. 
  • Mat the picture on pattern paper.
  • Glue Flourish chipzeb, also glue the photo using dimensional tape as shown in the picture. 
  • Glue all the elements on the canvas using clear dry glue.
  • Glue 2 art pebbles on the sentiment using adhesive that dry clear. 
  • For the finished look splattered some black dots.

2nd Project




  • Take a mdf caddy and apply black gesso.
  • Paint the caddy with desired color .
  • Apply texture paste using Mudra's Ornamental pattern and corner stencil .
  • Add white and vintage pearl embossing powder on the texture paste and heat set it.
  • Glue some Leaves chipzeb and flowers on the right side of the caddy using hot glue gun.
  • For finished look apply fairy dust on the flowers using adhesive that dries clear. 

3rd Project 


  • To create background apply festive berries ink and tattered rose distress ink using Mudra's stencil. 
  • Stamp Sweet Rose flower using same ink on white card stock and fussy cut it.
  • Stamp outline image on vellum paper using versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder.  
  • Glue vellum flower on the layered flower image.
  • Stamp some leaves on vellum paper using versamark and heat emboss it with white embossing powder.  Paint them using leaf green archival and fussy cut them. 
  • Arrange flowers and leaves using dimensional tape as shown in the picture. 
  • Stamp a sentiment using black versafine ink.
  • For finished look splattered some black dots. 
4th Project

  • Stamp Fern and leaves stamp on all 4 sides of vellum paper using versamark and heat emboss it with embossing powder. 
  • Stamp sentiment from peony love stamp using black archival. 
  • Take a white card stock, apply peacock feathers distress ink directly from the ink pad.
  • Mat vellum paper on the card stock. Further mat it on the black card stock which is 1/16" of an inch bigger on all sides .
  • Glue some sequins as shown in the picture.
