Festive Cards !!!

Diwali is just around the corners and I'm sure that you must be all pepped up to celebrate this happy festivals of colors, lights and brightness all around. In India, Diwali is celebrated as a home coming festival for Lord Rama after 14 years of exile. This is a much awaited festivals and also the one's which brings in much cheer, happiness and brightness all around.
Mudra has come up with some amazing Diwali stamps and there is no better way to include a homely touch to your gifts then to have a little handmade love accompanied with them. I have a few quick cards inspirations which you can also use to make quick tags for diwali!

Here are the cards!

Card 1.

I have used my most favorite stamp here.
Fairly simple card.

To make the card:

1. Take an A2 watercolor cardstock panel and stamp the Ganesha from the cute ganesha stamp set. I also added a few lights from another stamp set. Watercolored the card panel and splattered a few red coloured droplets ! Stamp the sentiments.
2. Adhered the watercolor panel to another cardstock base and you have a cute ganesha card ready!

Card 2.
These cards are embossed and are then watercoloured. I have used the lanterns from the stamp sets and one of the images is from the diwali sets that were released last year and one from this year's release

To make these cards.
1. Take an A2 size watercoloured panel. Using the versafine embossing ink, ink the images on the panel and then use the desired embossing powder. I have used Ranger's white and gold for the cards.
2. Heat set and then add the sentiments.
2. Adhered the panels on the A2 sized cardstock. Tada, your cards are ready!

Card 3.
This card is a combination of stencil and stamped images.

To make this card
1. Take the mandala stencil and using the Distress ink, spiced marmalade, ink as per your choice of the area.
2. Stamp the diya(this is from the last year's release) and then die-cut using the punch. Adhere it to the card panel
3. Add the sentiments and then adhere this panel to the A2 size cardstock.

Card 4:
This card is made using the carnations stamp set.

To make this card.
1. Stamp the images from the carnations stamp set  as per your desired positions on the A2 size watercolor panel.
2. Color the images
3. Adhere a few sequins and then mount this panel to the A2 sized cardstock.

Here are the images once again!

I hope you liked the creations and do not forget to take part in this month's challenge which is all about Festive colors. Find all about it here
