Red and Gold Elegant Diwali Cards

Hello my dear lovely people! It's me, Deepti here with a few Elegant Red and Gold Diwali cards. I love this color combo so much because the color combo itself speaks about festivities and celebration! ;) I used the newly released stamp sets called Diwali Sentiment, Deepavali, Crackers stamp sets and Splash Stencil for my project today.

CARD #1

Project Details
  1. I started by ink blending the background with Festive Berries Distress Ink and added splashes of water for some water color look
  2. Next I took another panel which is smaller in size and stamped the image and sentiment from Crackers Stamp Set in Versamark Ink and Heat Embossed with Gold Embossing Powder
  3. Also applied Gold Pigment Paint along the edges of the smaller panel
  4. Finally adhered the smaller panel over the main card base

And here is the closure look of the card!

CARD #2

Project Details
  1. For this card, I started by stamping the Rangoli image from Deepavali stamp set on red card stock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder.
  2. Onto the Vellum card stock I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Diwali Sentiment stamp set.
  3. Next I wrapped the Vellum piece around the Red card stock and adhered the red panel over the main card base
  4. Finally finished the card off with a few yellow sequins

  3. Finally stamped the sentiment from Diwali Sentiment in Versamark Ink and Heat Embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder
  4. I applied Gold Pigment Paint at the edges of the water color paper
