Hello my dear lovely friends! How are you all doing? This is Deepti here with three pretty and sweet cards made using the stamps from February release.
CARD - I
I love making one of a kind funny cards. I don't know whether this chick is farting the beautiful colors or just spreading the colors by shaking it's feathers!! You decide! ;)
I simply water colored the background as shown above with Koi Water Colors. Then stamped the chicken from EGGstasy stamp set and water colored it as well.
Stamped the sentiment from Geometric Nature in CP's Midnight Ink and adhered the little chick onto the card base with mini action wobble. Finally applied stardust stickles onto the water color area and adhered star confetti on the card front.
CARD - II
This card was pretty simple! I stamped the leaves from Geometric Nature stamp set in Versafine Sepia ink and messy water colored them with Koi water Colors.
Next stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto the card panel. Adhered the fussy cut leaves and added tiny droplets of black paint. I adhered the smaller panel onto the main card base along with gold glittery washi tape.
CARD III
This is my favourite card for today! I love how this card turned out. I placed the Geo Angles Stencil at an angle on the card stock and ink blended a portion with Dusty Concord, Spun Sugar and sponge daubers.
Then I stamped the images onto the card stock and water colored them with Faber-Castell Water Color Pencils. Stamped the sentiment and fussy cut and adhered everything together!
VIDEO DETAILS
I've filmed a video for you from start to finish showing you on how I put this card together! I am so sorry about the bad lighting, the Sun kept playing hide and seek all the day!
In the video I have shared a simple water coloring technique with Faber-castell Water Colour pencils. Scribbling directly onto the paper while water coloring leaves harsh lines. The best solution is to pick up the color directly from the pencil with a paint brush. Here is a comparison picture for you!
And that's the cards for today and I hope you liked them. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I will see you soon!
And also don't forget to play along with our current challenge where the theme is Celebration
