Floral Mixed Media Art Journal Spread

For today's post, I've made a Floral Mixed Media Art Journal Spread- Live Life in Full Bloom. I've used some gorgeous supplies from Mudra's awesome July Release and some of my favourites from earlier releases. To check out the full release, please click HERE. Let's start. 

 Floral Mixed Media Art Journal Spread

Process:

1. Applied heavy white gesso to the pages to prepare them for mixed media work

2. Applied modelling paste through Mudra's Floral Doodle Stencil onto the pages to create background texture

3. Added color to the background using Lindy's Gang Squirts, sprayed with water to create movement and let it dry

4. Sponged on Mudra's Cocoa Brown Mai Ink through Mudra's Floral Spray Stencil onto the background 

5. Stamped the background with Mudra's Hexa Stamp and Mudra's Mai Ink- Cocoa Brown. 

6. Adhered Mudra Chipzebs- Birds on Branches, Floral Spray, Leaves 2 and Wildfloral Scroll onto the pages and also added apt sentiments using a few Tim Holtz stickers.

7. In the end, distressed the edges of the journal pages with Mudra's Mai Inks- Cocoa Brown and Jet Black & created ink splatter.
