4 Cards + 2 Different Techniques

Hello Everyone,

Zalak here again with cards using our new July Release. Did you check new release? If not, then Click Here.

Today I am sharing 4 cards using two simple techniques, one is Embossing (Heat and using embossing folder) and second is Pencil coloring.

So Let's Start,

Ink Blending & Embossing (Heat & Dry)

Card 1

  • I started with cutting watercolor CS into 6"x6" size.
  • Then placed "Indian Ornate" Stencil on a watercolor CS and dabbed versamark ink over stencil.
  • Once its done, I have removed stencil and sprinkle white embossing powder and heat set it.
  • Then I have divided the 6"x6" watercolor CS into 8 equal parts and started ink blending using 8 different Mai Inks.
  • Then I placed all the 8 parts to form a square again and diecut sentiment 5 times from white CS.
  • To finish the card, I have embellished with rainbow jewels.

Card 2

  • I started with cutting watercolor CS into 6"x6" size.
  • Then placed "Music Heart" Stencil on a watercolor CS and ink blending with "Sky Blue" Mai ink over stencil.
  • Once its done, I have removed stencil and placed another stencil which is "Let's Sing" and ink blend with "Jet Black" Mai ink.
  • Then I have sprinkled clear embossing powder and heat set it.
  • Once it is done, I took 3D embossing folder and dry embossed it.
  • To finish the card, I have embellished with jewels.

Pencil Coloring

Card 1

  • I started cutting watercolor CS in a notecard size i.e. 4"x4"
  • Then in the center I stamped "Blossom Mini" stamp set with "Jet Black" Mai Ink.
  • Once the ink is dried completely, I started coloring with faber-castell polychromos pencils.
  • Then I placed "Travel" Chipzeb and stamped the sentiment over it and splatter with black ink.
  • To finish the card, I have adhered some jewels.

Card 2

  • I started with 6"x6" watercolor CS and traced "Decorative flower pot" stencil with light grey faber-castell polychromos pencil.
  • Once tracing done, I have colored it with different polychromos pencils and then embossed with 3D embossing folder.
  • To finish the card, I have attached "Dyeable Ribbons" (new product from MUDRA) and some jewels.

I hope you liked all the cards today. I will be back with some fun video tutorial next post till then Happy Crafting.
