Pair of Vintage Mixed Media Tags

Hi folks!
Good Morning :)

Preeti Datta (aka Dutt Preety) here. Hope you are doing well.

For today's post, I've made a Pair of Vintage Mixed Media Tags. I've used Mudra's gorgeous Stamps, Chipzebs, Decor Stones & Mai Premium Dye Inkpads here. Let's start.

Pair of Vintage Mixed Media Tags

Tag 1: This Happy Life

Tag 2: Smile

Process:

1. Apply heavy white gesso to two mdf tags & color them using distress paints and Lindy's gang sprays
2. Stamp the backgrounds on the tags using Mudra Premium Dye Inkpads- (Cocoa Brown & Jet Black Inkpads) and Mudra Stamps- (Hexa, Madhubani Borders & Pixels)
3. Color watercolor paper with Lindy's Gang sprays in shades of blue, green and brown, stamp on them with the same Mudra stamps & tear this into pieces, these will be used for layering
4. Wrap hemp twine around the tags
5. Layer & adhere all the elements to the tags using a strong glue- colored pieces of cardstock, Mudra Chipzeb - (Beautiful Butterflies Chipzeb, Mini Flower #2 Chipzeb and Wildfloral Scroll Chipzeb), Tim Holtz's paper dolls, metallic stickers, Mitform Metal Castings, gauze and thread
6. For additional texture & shine, adhere Mudra Decor Stones- Mini, glitter and sequins using Soft Matte Gel
7. Add a little rust effect paste to some areas of the tags, also apply some waxes for a vintage look
8. Create ink splatter using watered down Lindy's sprays and white gesso.
