I just love making my own embelishments. It's really super fun to create tini tiny embelishments. I am very fond of making my own flowers. Flowers not only enhance the beauty of projects , also makes the world more beautiful. Our earth is a very beautiful planet and filled with various amazing things. But the flowers on earth are God's precious creation.
"Flowers... are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty outvalues all the utilities of the world".
Today I create bunches of flowers using Mudra's Gardenia die. As you all know Mudra's Gardenia die is very versatile, you can create various flower. Here I am showing 2 types of flowers which are very simple to create. I also create a pictorial of rose flower. Hope you like it.
1st project:-
- First I cut the flower making paper using Mudra's Gardenia die. Here I use "The Secret Garden" flower making paper. You can also use iris paper of 230 gsm.
- For the small rose I use 4 flowers of the same size and for the big flower I use 5 flowers of the same size.
- Color the flowers . ( here I am using spun sugar).
- Slightly shape the flowers using a simple brush as shown in the pic.
- Take a Styrofoam buds and glue a flower as shown. (If you don't have Styrofoam buds, you can create a bud using kitchen foil. Just crush the foil and shape like a modak).
- Note :- in first 2 layers curves are inside and in rest 2 layers curves are outside.
- Glue all the petals on the bud. (HERE I am using Fevicol's All fix , you can use hot glue or any other strong glue).
- Take your twizer and twist the edges of the petals. If you don't have twizer at the same time, you can do it by your hands also.
- Glue the second layer as shown in pics below.
- Also twist the edges of this layer.
- Glue the third layer. ( Note:- This time curves are outside)
- Do same with 4th layer.
- Your flower is ready. You can apply glitter on it using glue that dries clear.
- Bottom green part is also made by the same diecut. For the bunch I create 2 big flowers , some small flowers and some rose buds. For the buds I use only 1 layer.
- Cut the leaves using Gardenia die and color with Olive green archival. Cut the edges using zig zag scissors. Mist the water on the leaves and shape them.
- Slightly shade the leaves with caranation red archival.
- Arrange all the elements using green floral tape in desire manner.
2nd project:-
