"Hello my lovely crafty friends,

I am Meena Herale from Shimoga, Karnataka, India. I am excited to be Guest Designer for Mudra Crafts for second time. Thank you very much Varshitha for giving me this chance again.

About myself,

I started doing crafting from childhood by seeing my mom, aunties and from books, news papers and YouTube. Crafting is my heart and soul. It’s the only thing which makes me to forget that I’m bedridden person. I took crafting as my hobby and from year 2001 I took it as my profession. I love making different types of cards, art journal, altered art, mixed media, DIY embellishments etc. I like to learn new techniques and style. I started writing blog from Feb’ 2016.  My style is Versatile.

Who doesn’t enjoy handmade embellishment and the best way to you use our scrap items . So today I am sharing few DIY Embellishments for on going challenge. I have used few new released stamps. So grab some hot coffee and enjoy the post.

Polaroid Frame Fridge Magnets

Method -
·     - First I took few Beary Hugs pattern papers and die cut it using Polaroid frame dies. Next using same   dies I die cut 4 frames from magnet sheet.
     - I adhere the die cut paper frame on magnet frame using Art Glitter glue.
·    - Next I took Mogra Layers Mini Stamp set and made few flowers in different colours. I loved this part very much because this layering stamp is very easy to create and layer. I have used Altenew inks for stamping.
·    - Using Art glitter glue I adhere the flowers on the Polaroid frames and added few blings on it.
·    - I added sentiment using Mixed greetings, Swing girl and Fresh cut rose stamp sets.

Chipzebs Embellishments

Method -

  •       First I took Geometrical Heart chipzebs and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.
  •       Next using Mudra Cut3 Gardenia dies I created few flowers and added glitter to it.
  •       For leaves, I took Mudra Leafy Swirls chipzebs and heat embossed it with green embossing powder.
  •       Next I adhere the flowers and leaves using glue gun.
  •       For sentiment I used Mudra Mixed Greetings stamp set and added Harvest Sequins.

Method -

  •        For this embellishments, I used Victorian Circle frame chipzebz and using Liquid Platinum I heat embossed it. Added Prima flowers to it.
  •       For sentiment I used Mixed greeting stamp set.

  •      I used Big butterfly from Butterflies chipzebs and again I heat embossed it. In middle I added a Prima flower and for leaves I used heat embossed Leafy Swrils chipzebs.

Flag Banner Paperclips Embellishments

Method -
·      - I took few papers from Beary Hugs collection and cut it into 1.75” by 6’’ and fold it into half so that we get 1.75’’ by 3’’. Next I cut ‘V’ shape  at bottom so that it looks like banner.
·      - Using Vintage Photo distress oxides I coloured all the sides. Next I took 20mm paperclips and insert the banner paper strips in it and glue it.
·      - Next I stamped Mogra image on watercolour paper, coloured it with Gansai Tambi and fussy cut it.
·      - Now I glued the lace on paper banner and next adhere the coloured Mogra and readymade flowers on the lace using glue gun. For leaves, I added heat embossed Leafy Swirls chipzebs and added few Harvest sequins.
·      - For sentiment I used Mixed Greeting stamp set.
