Mudra Craft Stamps: Shabby chic mixed media cards

Meher here from Meher Creations back with a new post based on our absolutely amazing new challenge of this month.

I've created 2 beautiful mixed media shabby chic cards using various elements. It was fun picking up things from the challenge list and creating these projects. I chose to use some texture pastes, stencils, laces, flowers and gesso for additional textures from the challenge list. I've a step by tutorial listed below with some pictures captured while creating these cards.

Step by step instructions:

Take two white cardstock measuring 8*6 and score at 4" (I have used floral oriental cardstock)
Take some pattern papers from Beary hugs paper pad. (I've used two sheets from beary hugs and one sheet from my stash)
Use two different stencils for two cards and apply Prima light paste randomly.
Mix black gesso with water and splatter it over both the pattern papers.
Pick some flowers, lace, Mudra Chipzeb and other embellishments to decorate your card. (I've used Mudra chipzeb frame on one card; Fairy tales and floral frames chipzeb on the other card)
Create a embellishment using Prima mould and paper clay to give a beautiful carved texture on your card. I painted the embellishment using Prima chalk edger to give a soft pastel look. Stick all the embellishments and flowers using finnabiar soft gloss gel. I also used some micro beads randomly using glossy accents.
Mix white gesso with water and splatter all over. I also used some color bloom shimmer sprays to splatter on the card to add more depth.
Stick this card layout on the white cardstock card and your card is ready.
