Hello Crafty Folks!!
Manu here and it feels like a long time that I have had showcased my creations here at the Mudra Blog, but truly happy to be back !
Mudra is coming up with some really gorgeous products and the new line added is the new Chipzeb which are chipboard designs in a wide variety of designs and an amazing quality at par with the ones found internationally. The Jan 2018 release saw about 10 newly launched designs and they are all amazing with superb designs catering to a wide area of usage! From scrapbooks to Mixed Media, these chipzeb can be used for about everything.
I'm sharing a Mixed Media tag that I made with the 'Simply Tags- Designer Chipboard'. Along with the same, I'm also sharing a few scrapbooks where I have used the newly launched chipboards.
Lets see the Mixed Media tags!! I'm learning and exploring Mixed media and I feel that there is so much to learn along the way. I'm sure you would agree. The tags I made are on terms for this months challenge the details of which is linked at the end of this post. I have also listed some steps on how I made these tags!
I'm sharing a few albums that I have embellished using the Mudra Chipzebs.

Chipzebs are the right embellishment to give that extra oomph to your work and make them stand out. These chipzebs cane be used as they are as they come in a lovely color or you can also use them with paints, sprays for they take up colors really well.
As a bonus project, I'm also sharing a 3D element that I added in one of my baby albums using the embellishment sheet from the Beary hugs paper pack.
I hope you liked all the projects. Do share your creations with the new Mudra products.

The big flower is made with dies launched by Mudra.
Lots of Mudra supplies have been used in these tags, the highlight being the new chipzebs, I'm so in love with them and I'm sure you would be too. Following are lots of pictures of these tags (I couldn't help taking a few) for you to enjoy ! The step on how to make these is listed at the end of the pics.
To make the tag:
1. Take the two biggest sizes from the tags collection and prepare them for the Mixed Media by putting up a layer of clear Gesso. Clear Gesso helps in keeping the colors intact of the beneath surface, but doesn't lets the inks/sprays getting absorbed by the surface. I also adhered the pink pattern paper from the Mudra Beary hugs paper pack to give it a little pinkish hue.
2. Take the stencil of your choice, I chose Mudra Doily stencil and used the Modelling paste to give the texture to the tag. Once done, spray the colours of your choice.
3. I used violet and a little blues, mixed with a little teal to create my base of the tag.
4. Once done, embellish the tag, the idea is to build up layers while making the tags to make it more fuller and appealing. There is no end to using them, but at one point you will eventually find where to stop.
5. In the end, put up some sentiment embellishments from the Chipzeb to finish off the tags.
