Hello Folks,
Tasneem here with Mudra's Challenge #8 for you!!
We are two days late in announcing this month's challenge because of our Birthday celebrations but this is going to be an interesting one - Masking!
I have a CAS Card as an inspiration for you.
1. Create a mask at the sides using a masking tape or washi tape.
2. Ink the Between space using Shabby Shutters , Broken China & Peeled paint.
3. Then, heat emboss the leaf stamps from Leafy using Liquid platinum and white EP.
4. I have also stamped little leaves in darker green for added interest.
5. Add the sentiment to finish the card.
We have one more inspiration for the theme from the Very Talented Manu Gupta , known for her cute cards..
1. Take a A2 size watercolor panel and stamp the ostrich image. Additionally stamp the ostrich image on a post-it paper and fussy cut it.
Mask the fussy cut paper over that on the panel and distress the complete panel with the distress ink.
2. Take a circle diecut and mask it over the ostrich image and using the mandala stencil and mustard
seed distress ink, get the mandala design by distressing over the mandala. Remove the stencil and the die cut.
3. Color the ostrich image. Have used Zig markers here, finish the card with a sentiment and a few enamel dots.
Finally mount the card to a A2 size cardstock.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and are inspired.. Looking forward to seeing all the exciting projects!!
