Spring Inspired Floral Cards!!

Hello friends!! This is Kanan, hope you all are doing great. Spring has already arrived in some part of the world and weather is getting better here. What could be a better inspiration than mother nature. So this beautiful season inspired me to create some floral cards.

I have made two cards today!! Hope you will like it, so let’s get going.

First Card

  • I used the "Linen Bloom" stamp set for this card
  • I stamped and masked the images on a watercolor panel
  • I used Distress inks to color the images (Peeled Paint and Wild Honey)
  • For the background I first wet the surface with water and then added the Peacock Feathers Distress Ink
  •  Added the sentiment from "Beautiful Butterflies" set.
  • Lastly added the sequins and added the whole panel on a kraft card base.
  • I really love all those bright colors and the thin strip of kraft card base together.
Second Card

  • For this card I used the "Peony Love" stamp set, this is my most favorite stamp set.
  • I first stamped the flower image onto a white panel in some light colored Memento inks.
  • After that, I stamped the main flower in black ink and colored it using polychromos pencils.
  • I added a thin patterned paper strip on the bottom of main panel and adhered everything on a white card base.
  •  Stamped the sentiment from ""Brushed" set.
  • Lastly added some sequins.
  • I love the clean and simple look of this card and bright colored flower with those vibrant and shiny sequins.
Stamps Used
