Desi Sweater Backgrounds!

What if your grandma knitted for you a Sweater in Desi Design/style? That would be awesome!!

Hi everyone! This is Deepti Stephens and welcome back! Today, I am going to show you three cards with same design but with different stamped backgrounds and colors. I used Madhubani Borders and Jingle Bells stamp sets for my cards.

CARD MAKING DETAILS
  1. I took a main card base (standard size) and another panel slightly smaller than the main card base (both white in color).
  2. Next I ink blended the backgrounds with Black Soot Distress Ink, Aquatini and Tutti Frutti inks by Catherine Pooler Designs.
  3. Next I stamped the background with one of the borders from Madhubani Borders on grey panel with Catherine Pooler Midnight ink, on blue panel with Aquatini and on orange panel with Tutti Frutti.
  4. I prepped the vellum card stock with Anti-Static Powder Bag and stamped the sentiment from Jingle Bells stamp set with Versafine Ink and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder from Ranger.
  5. Finally adhered all the panels together with Tacky Glue. And that's it!

Here is how the gold embossed part looks like! And I'll be sharing a few close up shots of the cards below! :)
