Guest Designer : Gurpreet Kaur Miglani

Hi Friends,

We have a lovely crafter on board today as our Guest designer for this month.

Let's hear from her :)

"Hello crafty friends,

This is Gurpreet Kaur Miglani from Delhi, India. Today I am super excited and honored to be a Guest Designer at Mudra. Thank you so much Varshitha for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I just love the Mudra stamps because they have Fab designs and the images are always crisp. I was a Print Model earlier but after getting married I took crafting as a hobby and from the year 2014 I took it as a profession. Home DΓ©cor, Card making and Scrapbooking is all I am doing. I love to learn new techniques and styles.

So, without wasting more time.... I welcome you all to my creative world.

CARD 1

For the first card, I masked (Mudra masking sheets) and heat set the “Wild Rose” images on water color paper. Then I water colored the outside area with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass). After this I colored the embossed images with the shades of yellow, orange and green. Then I splashed few drops of sky blue with the aqua brush. And finally I die cut “thanks” and stamped the sentiment with Mudra “Thanks” stamp set and mounted it on the red and white card stock.

CARD 2

Here for my Second card I have used NO Line Coloring Technique.
In this I have masked and stamped the “Wild Rose” images on the water color paper using Distress Ink (Spun Sugar). Then I’ve water colored the images with Camlin Artist watercolors. After this I filled the space with Distress inks (Mowed lawn, brushed Corduroy and Tea Dye) and splattered few drops of green color with aqua brush. And in the last I heat set the Sentiment on vellum and adhere it on the card.

CARD 3

For my third card I took 2 pieces of cardstock on them I masked and stamped the images with Archival Jet Black ink using Mendhika Stamp set. Then colored the images with Camlin Artist Watercolors. I have die cut the sentiment and heat embossed it with Ranger gold embossing powder. In the end I mounted it on black and white CS."
