4 Cards using Spotlight Technique

Hello everybody! Indira here today with 4 cards showcasing the Spotlight Technique. I really had a blast playing with this technique and kept going on and on. Let's have a look at the inspirations for today....

Card no. 1 - Butterfly Spotlight Card
  1. Took a watercolored panel and added few ink splatters.
  2. Placed the die cut tag on the panel and stamped the butterfly image.
  3. Colored the portion of the butterfly on the tag.
  4. Stamped the sentiment and added few sequins for bling.
  5. Adhered the panel on a top folding black CS.

Card no. 2 - Hugs and Kisses Spotlight Card
  1. Took a watercolored CS.
  2. Placed a yellow circle on it and masked the base.
  3. Used the stamping tool to stamp the flower cluster with black ink on yellow circle.
  4. Removed the circle and mask and then stamped the big flower cluster at the same position on the white base.
  5. Stamped the sentiment.
  6. Added another flower next to the sentiment.
  7. Filled up the white space using the smaller flowers and leaves.
  8. Adhered the panel on a top folding black CS.

Card no. 3 - Blessed Day Spotlight Card
  1. Took a white CS and cut it like a fishtail tag.
  2. Placed the Kraft CS and tag inside a stamping tool.
  3. Masked the Kraft CS and stamped the leaves using various color inks on the tag.
  4. Removed the tag and mask and stamped on the card base.
  5. Stamped the sentiment on tag.
  6. Drew an outline on kraft base.
  7. Popped up the tag on base using foam tape and added twine to it.

Card no. 4 - Friends for Life Spotlight Card

  1. Took a white CS and stamped the girl image on it.
  2. Stamped the balloons part on another piece of white CS and fussy cut it.
  3. Colored the fussy cut balloons and popped them over the base panel using foam tape.
  4. Stamped the sentiment on white CS and matted it on black CS.
  5. Added black matting for white panel.
  6. Adhered the panel on a grey card base.
  7. Added glossy accents on the red heart-shaped balloon.

That's all from me today. There is plenty of inspiration to play along our August Challenge - Spotlight technique. Do participate and stand a chance to win some awesome prizes.
