Triple Time Stamping/Stencilling | Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! Indira here today to showcase a fun technique called Triple Time Stamping/Stencilling.
I have three cards, one using stamps and other two with stencils.

Let's have a look at the cards made using stencils first, thereafter I have a video tutorial for the one made using stamps.

Card no 1 - Floral Abstract Stencil Birthday Card

1. Took a 6x4" top folding card base.
2. Took a panel which was 1/2" smaller than the card base.
3. Taped down the stencil on panel and inked using Distress inks.
4. Marked and cut out the inked panel to get 3 pieces: 2 frames and one center piece.
5. Cut black matting paper 1/4" bigger than the cut pieces.
6. Glued all the pieces on their respective mats and then glued them back together to form the Triple Stencilled background.
7. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.
8. Added clear sequins.

Card no 2 - Mandala Stencil Birthday Card

1. Took a 4.5x4.5" top folding card base.
2. Took the same size panel as the card base.
3. Taped down the stencil on panel and inked using Distress inks.
4. Marked and cut out the inked panel to get 3 pieces: 2 frames and one center piece.
5. Instead of three mats, glued a single black matting paper on the card base.
6. The twist here is to pop the 2 frames with foam tape and adhere one inside the other, unlike gluing them on top of the other with mats.
7. The outer frame has doubled-up foam tape and the second frame has a single layer of foam tape.
9. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum.
8. Added sequins.

Here you can see the dimension between the frames.

Card no 3 - Wishing you brighter days

The steps for this card are exactly the same as card no. 1 above, except that here I have used a stamp set instead of a stencil. Also I added a ribbon to the smallest piece to deck it up a bit.

Please scroll down for a video tutorial of this card.
