Simply Cards!!

Hi Friends!

Sathya here from Paperie Expressions. Am here today with few simple cards using Fabulous May releases.

Let's get started!

Ramadan Kareem to all Muslims crafters out there and Advance Eid Mubarak !!

Following cards are made using this particular stampset as Seasonal one especially for Ramadan & Eid with many lovely sentiments : Islamic Festive

Card 1:



  • Took Bielo card and stamped the mosque at a corner and colored it in black.
  • White Heat embossed the moon and large star.
  • Gold heat embossed the sentiment at a corner.
  • Then distressed whole of the card using Distress inks - Mustard seed and Will honey.
  • Trimmed and Mounted onto A2 sized ivory cardbase.

 Card 2:


  • Took Bielo card panel, Black heat embossed the mosque.
  • And gold heat embossed the lanterns star and the sentiment stamps.
  • Trimmed, Mounted on to a golden cardstock and then added to A2 sized ivory cardbase.
Card 3:



  • Took a designer cardstock with clouds to match my card.
  • Stamped the cutie pig in cloud and colored using colored pencils.
  • Fussy cut and added this to the Top fold card base.
  • Stamped the sentiment from the same set.

Card 4 : 


  • Took watercolor cardstock, stamped the mermaid using black archival ink and colored it using Zigclean color brush pens.
  • Took a watercolor panel, diecut it using stitched die and made the background using Brusho crystals - Cobalt blue and Turquoise
  • Fussy cut the mermaid, mounted on the brusho panel using foam adhesives and stamped few fishes around her and finally the sentiment.
  • Then this panel is added onto a dark blue cardbase.
  • Few clear dew droplets are added as final touches.
Card 5:







  • Am totally in a vacation mood and so this card :)
  • Took a designer cardstock with alphas.
  • Stamped brushed alphas in same cs and fussy cut.
  • Revisted our Beach fun stamp set for all those fussy cut elements.
  • Popped them using foam adhesives.
  • And thus finishes off this card :) 


Card 6:



  • Took a watercolor cardstock, gold heat embossed the florals and colored using Zig clean color brush pens.
  • Fussy cut it and kept aside.
  • Took a watercolor panel. diecut it and background made using Brusho crystal - Purple.
  • Added few stamping using Pixel stampset.
  • White doily added centrally and to it added the fussy cut floral elements.
  • Purple twine added to the panel and sentiment from Built the ribbon set is used.
  • The panel then added to the purple A2 cardbase.
  • Purple enamel dots added as final touches to this simple Monochromatic themed card.

Card 7:


  • Made this card in accordance with the current challenge theme, Triple Time Stamping/stenciling
  • Mine is with a little variation. Its Offset Triple Time stamping.
  • I have cut the white panels using Spellbingers A2 Matting Dies and arranged keeping all corners at one end, stamped using a floral bunch repeatedly.
  • Then matted those panels with black cs.
  • Colored the images just with grey colored pencils, so as to highlight the central floral stamped images.
  • Sentiment is white heat embossed and added onto the card.
  • Flower centre are popped a bit using glossy accents.
