Did you check the new monthly challenge and gorgeous creations by our DT member Parul and Yulianna? This whole month all our DTs will be showcasing this fabulous technique with plenty of inspiration, so do stop by and share your creativity with us. :-)
Here's my first card.
- I used the "Mermaid" set for this card and the "Doodle clusters stencil" stencil for the background.
- Created the background with ombre effect using Stencil and Distress inks.
- Colored the images using Polychromos pencils and some markers.
- Used "Wink of Stella" glitter pen on the background and on all the images.
- Added some clear sequins by Mudra.
- Wanted to add some more glitter just because it was a mermaid card so added the stickles on the edges of the panel. This adds perfect touch and shimmer to the whole card.
- Used the stitched die on the front panel and added two shades of Distress inks to create the background.
- Sprinkle some water drops on the inked background for more interest.
- Colored the images from the "Pig Day" set with polychromos pencils and zig markers.
- Adhered everything with foam squares.
- Added some shimmer on flowers and my card was ready. Love how simple yet cute it looks.
Third Card -
- Stamped the tiny rose and leaf images from the "Wishing You" set using Memento and Distress inks. I filled the blank spaces with another tiny vine image from the "Frames and Fills" set.
- Stamped the sentiment from the "Thanks" set.
- Added some clear Mudra sequins.
- Love this simple one layer card with those tiny roses.
Fourth card -
I made this card with the "Triple Time Stamping Technique" which is the theme of this months challenge. I also have a photo tutorial for the same.
- I took three panels (watercolor paper) in three different sizes, approx- 4 x 5 1/4, 3 x 4 1/4, 2 x 3 1/4
- Temporarily adhered all the panels together.
- For more interest I kept the second panel diagonally and started stamping the images from "Simply Florals" set.
- Water colored the images in bright colors using Zig markers.
- For my base and mats, I chose kraft card stock. Which was approx - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, 3 1/4 x 4 1/2, 2 1/4 x 3 1/2.
- Adhered all the stamped panel on card base and mats using some dimensions.
- Instead of adding embellishments, I used "Wink of Stella" clear glitter pen on all the images and splattered some Distress ink. Also, added dots with white gel pen.
- The sentiment is from "Frames & Fill #1" set.
Hope this tutorial will help you to understand this unique technique for your projects. If you have any questions or suggestions, please leave a comment.
