Floral Galore!!

Hiya Friends!

This is SathyaKala from Paperie Expressions.

Totally missing this place and ofcourse Crafting! And now am back after a long Vacation and energized enough to keep me going on for next 9 months :)

Must say...was itching to craft seeing July and August Launch stampsets...Awesomeness overloaded!! Absolutely loved Gerbera Blooms from our Floral stamps collection, which is growing up beautifully with every release!

Made some 5 cards and you heard me right!! All are Completely Florals :)

Now onto my cards!

First up is the Gorgeous Gerbera Blooms. Its a Layering floral stamp of our August Release.

  • Took A2 sized white top fold card. Matted with a white cs which is stenciled with TimHoltz Rays stencil using Mustard seed distress ink.
  • Sentiment is stamped using Archival Sepia ink.
  • Stamped the florals on Canson Montval Watercolor paper and colored with Zig Realbrush pens. Fussycut and mounted on the card using foam adhesives.
  • Few clear droplets as accents to finish off the card.
  • Stamping is made SO easy just by the stamping tool, Impresso, an inhouse production of VarnasCreations. If you like to minimise all stamping flaws, try out various stamping techniques...then stamping tool is a Must-have one.
Next is the Card using Hibiscus Stamp. If you love watercoloring...Its a must to add.

  • Took A2 sized white cs as base card.
  • Stamped Hibiscus and leaves by masking technique, using Black archival ink.
  • Watercolored the florals and leaves using Zig clean brush pens.
  • Used light blue color to go around the whole stamped scene just to give that hazy bg look.
  • Stamped Sentiment from Happy Birthday stampset.
  • Matted this focal panel onto the black cs using foam adhesives and then glued down to the base card.
  • Few pink sequins and clear droplets are as accents used here.
Third card is made using cute Mini bunch stampset, by our Mudra Illustrator, Ruchi.

  • Took A2 sized grey cs matted with Spellbinder Floral oval largest diecut in black.
  • Stamped the floral bunches in Canson Montval watercolor paper using black Archival ink as i love to watercolor these cuties.
  • Watercoloring done using Zig Realbrush pens and fussy cut the bunches and topped up with Wink of stella Clear glitter on petals, to jazz up a bit. Then pearl centered those florals.
  • Arranged on the focal oval frame using foam adhesives.
  • Took the smallest die from Spellbinder floral oval, distressed the banner, stamped the sentiment, punched holes on either ends, and used the Natural Linen Ribbon through it to tie to the either sides of card.
  • Few white pearls as accents to finish off the card.
Fourth card is made using Hummingbird stampset, made by our Mudra Stamp Illustrator, Suchi. Am in love with the Fuschia :)

  • Took A2sized black cardbase,matted with a wood pp.
  • Then watercolor card is diecut and the Fuschia is white heat embossed.
  • Watercolored using Zig clean brush pens.
  • Used Grey color to highlight the floral branch a bit.
  • Sentiment is stamped from Linen blooms stampset in a pp and fussy cut the part of the sentiment.
  • 'Love' is a diecut, which is added near to the stamped sentiment.
  • Added this tilted watercolored panel to the black cardbase.
  • Few pink sequins are added to finish off the card.
Final and fifth card - a Monochromatic card, made using the Daisy blooms.

  • The Vanilla cardbase is matted with a woodgrain pp from Naturals, Papericious.
  • Then it topped with a diecut from Spellbinders Divine Eloquence in vanilla cs.
  • Then the central frame is a diecut from same die from burlap pp of Naturals, Papericious.
  • To top the faux textured bases, added a biege crocheted lace around the frame.
  • The layered florals are stamped using Rich cocoa and Toffee crunch momento inks, fussy and foam mounted.
  • White gel pen highlights on the floral petals and have used clear droplets as centres.
  • The leaves are stamped from Leafy stampset, using colorbox Frost white ink in kraft cs and fussy cut and foam mounted on the frame.
  • Sentiment from Brushed sentiment set is added, the two tone is achieved by partially stamping in Archival sepia and partial stamping in colorbox frost white ink, and then followed by toffee crunch momento ink.
  • Fussy cut and foam mounted on card.
  • Few diecut florishes in white, few white pearls to finish off the card.
