Mudra Craft Stamps: Set of Artist Trading Coins

For today's post, I've made A Set of Nature Inspired Artist Trading Coins. Artist Trading Coins are a fun variant of ATCs, they are circular in shape and 2.5 inches in diameter. I've used Mudra's gorgeous stamps, stencils, chipzebs and decor stones here. I've prepared a step-by-step pictorial of the process as well :) Let's start.

Set of Artist Trading Coins

Step 1: Applied color to heavy white cardstock by spraying with water and adding Lindy's Gang Starburst Squirts and Sprays. Used blues, green and a bit of yellow.

Step 2: To add patterns to the background, sponged on archival inks through Mudra Stencils- Shell Pattern, Floral Splash & Simple Waves

Step 3: Did stamping all around the cardstock using archival inks and Mudra Stamps- Checker, Dream Sentiment, Damask Mini, Elegant Damask, Leaves, Mandala Mini & Mendhika

Step 4: Punched out 2.5 inch circles out of the cardstock and distressed their edges with black archival ink

Step 5: Adhered the punched out circles to scalloped black circle die cuts (for a fun look). Also, heat embossed Mudra Chipzebs- Beautiful Butterflies, Birds on Branches, Cutie Tweety, Garden Greens, Handdrawn Butterfly, Leaves #2 in black to give them a nice shine.

Step 6: Adhered the chipzebs & sentiment tiles to the artist trading coins, then adhered Mudra Decor Stones- Micro & Mini using Soft Matte Gel, sprinkled on glitter for extra shine. In the end, created white & black ink splatter.
