Card Sets with Stamps and Stencils

Hi! Nandini here with some fresh inspiration using an array of Mudra products. Since the theme for this month's challenge is Anything Goes, I decided to use my favorite Mudra products and create some card sets. I love making these as they make great gifts for friends and family.

Set 1:
I made some super CAS cards with the gorgeous Magnolia stamp.

  • Take some white cardstock and die cut a panel.
  • Stamp the flower cluster from the Magnolia stamp set with black ink on the panel.
  • Trim off around ½ inch off the top of the panel and mount it on the card base with foam tape.
  • Take a small strip of colored cardstock and stamp the sentiment from the Carnations stamp set with black ink.
  • Adhere the strip over the top of the panel.

Set 2:
I used my first ever stamp set by Mudra and one of my very favorites.

  • Take a white die cut panel.
  • Stamp the blooms from the Fantasy Florals on the panel. I used 3 shades of the same color for stamping to give some depth.
  • Draw the stems with sketch pens.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Carnations stamp set with black ink.
  • Mount the panel with foam tape on a kraft card base.

Set 3:
I am a huge fan of the stencils by Mudra. I love the gorgeous designs and high quality of these stencils.

  • Take a top folding white card base.
  • Attach the stencil to the front of the card base with washi tape.
  • Mix some ink with a neutral shimmer paste to get colored shimmer paste. Feel free to mix inks for custom colors. I mixed green and blue inks in equal amounts to get a lovely turquoise.
  • Apply the shimmer paste through the stencil with a palette knife. I went for an ombre look.
  • Let the base dry for about an hour.
  • Die cut the Thanks die from some silver card stock.
  • Mount on a piece of black paper.
  • Pop up the sentiment panel on foam tape and adhere to the base.

Here is a closer look at the stencilling.
