CAS Creativity with Linda

Hi there. I hope you're having a great week.

I'm sharing today a few of the quickest cards I've ever made. I'm usually not one to dabble much with one layer cards but these guys come pretty close - except for a few sequins on top :-)

The first two cards work for the Spotlight Challenge this month - you only have a week left to get your cards in! We can't wait to see them.

Card - 1

  •  Stamp dog from 'Oh Happy Day' Stamp set all over card front in a Copic friendly black ink
  • Colour one dog with Copics - E37/E35/E31
  • Stamp sentiment from 'Purely Sentiment Labelled' in matching ink - Tea Dye Distress Ink - and cut out
  • Adhere to card front with foam adhesive and add a few sequins to finish.

Card -2

  • Cut white card 8mm shorter than the width of your card base and stamp 'Persian Elements' flower in Copic friendly grey ink.
  • Colour a 'Spotlight" with Copics - BG49/BG13/BG11
  • Stamp across the bottom a range of 'Purely Labelled' Sentiments in grey ink and one spotlighted in coordinating teal ink
  • Ink up the left side of the card base in this same teal ink and adhere stamped piece over the top with foam tape for dimension.
  • Add a few sequins to finish.

  1. What fabulous cas cards you have created here Linda. Love them all but my favourite is Card 2 and how you have spotlighted that one flower and your sentiment. Gorgeous stencil and colours on Card 3. Of course that cute little puppy is simply adorable on Card 1.
