Let's get started.
First Card -
- White embossed the images from the "Simply Floral" set.
- Inked them using Distress inks (Barn Door, Evergreen Bough, Scattered Straw)
- Took a watercolor panel and loosely water colored the background using Distress inks (Scattered Straw) and added some splatters.
- Added all the images on it.
- Added few sequins and patterned paper strip for more interest.
- The sentiment is from the same set.
- I can never get enough of floral cards, do you?
Second card -
- Took a panel which was the same size of card base.
- Created a day scene using Distress inks (Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint) on that panel and added the cute pig image on it from the "Pig Day" set.
- I wanted to created a magical fun night scene inside it for that, inked the inside panel (Which is actually the main card base) using Distress inks (Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord) and created a night scene and added the sweet sleepy pig from the same set.
- Added Wink of Stella pen on the front scene and on both the images.
- I wanted to add more glitter on the inside panel so, added some stars using stickles.
- Now the best part, I cut the front panel using a craft knife and created a flap, so when the recipient will open that flap can see the beautiful night scene inside it. which is totally opposite of front panel.
- Added a little tab using a patterned paper on the front panel to open the flap. The sentiment is from the "Mail Delight" set.
- Love this idea of a very simple front panel and surprise inside that scene, so many possibilities.
Third card -
- Took a patterned paper and for more interest used stitched dies on background and adhered it on a card base.
- Took a another card base which was approx 2.5 x 5 cm and inked it using Distress inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire)
- Added a balloon from"Balloons" set and Cute Dog image from "Furry Friends" set.
- Colored both the images using watercolors.
- Added two small pieces of magnets on the inside of the card.
- Slide it inside the main card base.
- When recipient receives it, it look like a card with a banner but the banner comes off the card and can be use as a bookmark, isn't it fun?
- It would make a great gift, especially for little ones.
Hope you will like my cards. If you have any questions or suggestions, please leave a comment.
