Unicorns in a Box and some flowers!

Hello!!! This is Manu here and I will be showcasing some cute unicorns from the Stay Magical stamp set along with a flower(y) card using the geometric nature stamp set.
Both these stamp sets are very close to my heart and I totally loved the way they came out to be!

I have two totally different styles of cards to share with you all today.

I was to do a total black background for the card so that the colorful flowers could stand out, but at the last minute, picked up my blue Mungyo watercolor crayon and did the shading! I love it this way too!! The blue totally brings out the colors and pep up the card!

Here are a few different shots of the card!

To make this card:
1. Take a watercolor panel and stamp the flower from the Geometric Nature stamp set as per the preference! Made the freehand stems of the flower and then stamp the leaves.
2. The background is done by scribbling a blue watercolor crayon all over and then running a watercolor brush to blend in the blue color.
3. Color the flowers with your choice of colors. These are colored with Zig Markers by randomly coloring a single line with the Zig marker at one end of the pattern and then spreading it out with the brush. Each individual triangle inside has been done the same way to give a shady look.
4. Once done, mount the panel onto a cardstock and finish off with a sentiment. Also to give a little dreamy look, splatter little droplets of water using the brush on the card.
Voila!! A super pretty card is ready!

Here's my take on the Stay Magical stamp set.
Even while doing the design co-ordination for this particular stamp set, I knew I would be making a Card in a Box with this particular stamp set. I was torn up between a shaker element and a card in a box, but ended up making the latter one!!
Do tell me if you like this particular one or now, I love it ;)

I'm totally in love with this cute one and I'm glad that it came out exactly like I had imagined it to come out!
Here are a few more clicks of the same, I hope you will like them soo since I couldn't stop myself from clicking a little too many :)

The images are all stamped and coloured with Zig markers, fussy cut and adhered to the card base.

To make the card.
1. To make a box card, I took a 13x8 inch cardstock and scored at 3,6,9,12 inches. Then rotated the cardstock and scored at 3.5 inch(this 3.5 inch would be my top of the card).
2. Cut out the cardstock midway from the top of the card scored at 3,6,9,12 inches till 3.5 inches so that you have the flaps falling. The last 1 inch left will be used to glue the card end to the front. Google for Card in a box template to checkout the template.
3. Cut out required pieces of cardstock and adhered to each flap inside and outside of the box structure that you get.
4. Stamp the unicorns and the other stamps needed onto a watercolor cardstock, color and fussy cut them. Adhere as per the choice on the card. Finish off with stamping some sentiments on the die cut panels and adhere to the inside of the flaps.
Believe me, it looks complex, but is one of the most pretty interactive card around! Do give it a try!

Here's a close snapshot of all the 3 sentiment flaps

I hope you all liked the card. Thanks for checking by!!
