Love Cards and Bookmarks Galore

Hi friends, Indira here today sharing my latest creations from Mudra Stamps. I have a lot of things to share so sit back and enjoy the post!

Card no. 1 - Together Forever

1. Took a 6"x12" card stock.
2. Scored it at 2", 4" 6" and 8".
3. Folded to form a double gatefold card base.
4. Stamped the Ostrich couple image atop the front folds.
5. Stamped the sentiment first in the middle panel to space out other things evenly.
6. Stamped the bunting image from Let's Party stamp set repeatedly to cover all the inner panels.
7. Stamped the rocks cluster image repeatedly across the inner panel with masking.
8. Added the snails and small florals from Wild Florals stamp set.
9. Stamped some more greenery below the rocks form the tiny stamp in the Let's Party stamp set.
10. Colored the inner panels using Zig markers and kept the outer panel plain to throw a surprise when the card is opened.
11. Added glossy accents over the hearts next to ostrich images and also added some shimmer to the hat and necklace with clear Wink of Stella pen.
12. Finally added the ribbon to keep the card shut.

Card no. 2 - Watercolored Blooms

1. Took a 5x7" watercolor CS.
2. Stamped the floral cluster with lots of masking.
3. Watercolored the image using watercolors.
4. Added some shimmer over the flowers with clear Wink of Stella pen.
5. Stamped the sentiment and popped the panel on a yellow card base.

Bookmarks : Recently, I had a chance to participate in a crafts fair here in Manila, Philippines and I created loads of bookmarks for the exhibition. With the Mudra Bookmarks Stamp set in hand, this task was super easy. I got carried away and created about 100 of them in different designs. Here's a quick look at them....

Bookmarks Set 1

1. Used The Man stamp set for this set.
2. Mixed and matched the images and sentiments to create a masculine design.
3. Added matching ribbons to complete it.

Bookmarks Set 2

1. Stamped the Dreamcatcher elements with various colored inks and hand drew the strings to have flexibility in design.
2. Added the sentiment and bakers twine to finish it off.

 Bookmarks Set 3

1. Smooshed distress inks on a transparency and placed the CS on it to create random watercolored backgrounds.
2. Dried the bg with heat gun and repeated the process to add more color and to brighten it.
3. Splattered droplets of Black soot distress ink.
4. Added the sentiment and ribbon.
5. Adhered the CS piece on a cream colored card base.

Bookmarks Set 4

1. Created various backgrounds using distress inks by smothering the ink pads directly onto the paper.
2. Added water droplets to it.
3. Stamped the sentiment and added the ribbons.

Bookmarks Set 5

1. Created monochromatic background with distressed inks.
2. Smooshed distress ink on a transparency and placed the CS on it to create random pattern.
3. Stamped the sentiment.
4. Splattered droplets of Black soot distress ink.

Bookmarks Set 6

1. Used Mudra stencil and golden modeling paste to create this beautiful border.
2. Stamped the sentiment on white CS pieces and glued to the bookmark.
3. Added a punched flower in gold at the top to match the border.
4. Adhered it to a cream colored base.

Bookmarks Set 7

1. Here again I used the same stencil but this time I made monochromatic designs by using same colored distress inks and base paper.
2. Smooshed Unicorn white ink in the center with sponge dauber to lighten the area for stamping the sentiment.
3. Drew lines with a golden gel pen on top and bottom.

Bookmarks Set 8

1. I have reused old gift tags to create these bookmarks.
2. Added the lovely sentiment from Mudra and the bookmark set was ready in no time!

Hope you liked my cards and also the bookmarks I shared with you today. I had a ball creating these bookmarks. I am very keen to know which ones you like the most. Do leave a comment to tell me which ones you loved the most!!

Cya again soon!! Till then, happy crafting.

Love Indira
