Birthday Cards with Loose and Messy Water-coloring Technique

Hello everyone! This is Deepti and welcome back. I hope you are enjoying Mudra's  First Birthday Celebrations! There are lot more fun to come so stay tuned! :)

Today I have two cards to share with you all made using Loose and Messy Water-coloring Technique. This is such a fun technique that anyone can give it a try. Simply apply water to the image and then add paint or load your paint brush with lots of water and paint and color your images! The paint starts to flow by itself. Such a Magical sight!!! :)

I'm using the brand new February release stamp sets from Mudra called Geometric Nature and Stay Magical.

I stamped the Geometric Floral image on a heavy white card stock with Versamark Ink and heat embossing it Zing White Embossing Powder. Then I applied the rainbow colors from Koi Water Colors Set with my paint brush

I just love how the embossed part resists the color and the remaining parts absorbs the color. Then finally added splatters of black paint and finished the card by stamping the sentiment with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink.

Here comes the second card..

For this card, I water colored the background with Blue color from Koi Water Colors. I applied three layers of colors and let the panel dry in between each interval.  Then I stamped the images on a piece of white colored cardstock and stamped the images and watercolored them as well.

I fussy cut all the images and adhered them onto the card base. :)
(I made a boo boo here, can you spot it! ;))

And that's it. I hope you like these cards and I hope you got inspired! And also don't forget to play along our Monthly challenge, where the theme is CELEBRATION.

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon! Bye! :)
