Love themed cards + Mudra Releases Day 1

Hiya Crafters,

Am Sathya here today, for my monthly inspirations. Made few simple cards to share. Hope you have seen our New CTs' Debut posts and their Mudra Creations. We are absolutely thrilled like you all, to see such awesomeness churned here.

Let's check my cards for today!!

Card 1:

  • This card is designed using the Stamp set - Hip hip hippo, designed by lovely crafter, Ruchi.
  • I just loved the cute hippos.
  • Made the banner and cake more colorful and left hippos in grey and muted tones.
  • Colored the hippos using Zig clean color brush pens and fussy to mount on the diecut window.
  • I placed the hippos in such a way, that they peep from the window to look the birthday cake.
  • Sentiment and banner are directly stamped on to the focal panel.
  • Then the whole panel is mounted on to the A2 sized white cardbase.
Card 2:

  • Took a white strip of watercolor paper.
  • Stamped and heat embossed the waves using white embossing powder from Sail away Stampset.
  • Then its distressed with tumbled glass followed by salty ocean distress inks.
  • Using a mask, created clouds using Tumbled glass distressed ink.
  • Stamped the ship onto a map patterned paper and fussy cut it.
  • Then its mounted on to the panel using foam adhesives.
  • Sentiment  is stamped near to it.
  • A red heart from Love stampset,  is stamped near the sentiment.
  • All are then mounted on to A2 sized ivory cardbase.
Card 3:

Our current challenge theme is Love. And i have made 2 cards in accordance with it.

  • Took a watercolor paper as focal panel.
  • Stamped and white heat embossed the heart balloons from Love stampset. Stamping tool is used here.
  • Stamped and Liquid platinum heat embossed the focal sentiment.
  • Series of Distress inks -Mustard seed and Barn door were sponged and water is sprinkled through mini mister to get that pooled/mottled effect.
  • Then, its made into a shaker card by using a heart shaker pouch and few tiny sequins.
  • The focal panel is then added to a A2 sized white card base.
Card 4:

  • I did some repeated stamping using Stamping tool and white heat embossed those sentiments from Love stampset.
  • The central focal sentiment was gold heat embossed.
  • Then i sprinkled Brusho crystals of Crimson and Yellow randomly and misted with mini mister heavily.
  • Watched the colors' bursts and the way they were flowing the panel.
  • Heat set it to become flat and mounted on to a A2 sized white cardbase.
  • Few clear droplets were added to finish off the card.
