Mixed media layout with November release

Hello friends,
Kavitha here today.I made a layout for todays post with couple of my favorite stamp from november release(but then each one of them is beautiful, isn't it?).I went with one of my most favorite combo,black-white-teal with lots of layers.

This month our challenge is "create your own background with stamps",so to go with that i randomly stamped the leaves on white pattern paper first, you really don't need perfect stamping when it comes to mixed media background, keeping it casual makes it more interesting. Then i applied a coat of clear gesso all over the paper and white gesso on some places for variation.

To build my layout i used some pattern paper scraps and added couple of chipboard embellishments between the layers.
I have also used the leaves as embellishments,i stamped them on vellum with versamark ink and heat embossed with black n white embossing powders. Then i fussy cut them and used with my floral arrangement.

I stamped the smallest size butterflies around the arrangement randomly and couple of more bigger  butterflies  are stamped/colored/fussy cut and used as embellishment

Some close ups...I have lots of details to show,so added more pictures, please bear with me ;)

Stamps used:
Butterfly layers

Leaves

So i hope you liked my inspiration using the new stamps, let me know what you think:).

Dont forget to play along our November challenge:"Create background with stamps"
