Mudra Guest Designer - Supraja Banukumar

Hiya!!

Am here with our Guest Designer Supraja. She is an amazing crafter, who makes everything from CAS cards to mixed media layouts!! Her Punch Craft and Ink blending adds a great touch to the projects. Am so glad to have her here in our blog.

Over to her,

"Hi All,

I am Supraja Banukumar, a software engineer pursuing my PG currently. Art and Craft are two things I cannot be without. Its my passion more than a hobby. I suddenly discovered my love for paper especially punch craft and from then started a new journey of card making, mixed media and decoupage.

I’m extremely happy and excited to guest design for Mudra. I take pride in saying that Mudra Stamps is one of the best in market for the stamped images are crisp and perfect. I wish them loads of success and luck in their future endeavours. All the best Varshitha Nagarajan , a person with tremendous potential and positive energy and truly an inspiration for many.

CARD 1

Made a base card in black cardstock of size 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 and cut a card stock which is 1/8th of an inch less on all sides with respect to the base card. I have embossed it and then distressed using Wild Honey , Rusty Hinge , Ripe Permisson and Vintage Photo.Have stamped a butterfly from the set “Butterfly Flutters" with Archival Black Ink and distressed it with Fired Brick and Wild Honey. Also added Glossy accent on top of it.Used the sentiment “Fluttering by to say hi” from the same stamp set as well.

CARD 2

Made a card base in white cardstock of size 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. Cut a card stock which is 1/8th of an inch less on top and bottom. On this card stock have covered with washi tape diagonally and distressed it with Pumice Stone and on the other side with Worn Lipstick. Embossed it with leaves and buds stamp from "Linen blooms" stamp set using Rangers Pink and Silver embossing powders. Have lifted Pumice Stone colour from the enclosed space of the images.Used the sentiment and embossed it with Rangers Pink powder and distressed it with Pumice Stone around the edges."
