FLY FREE – as a butterfly…

Hello everybody,

Yesterday, the 15th day of August 2016 was India’s 70th Independence day. Although it has been 70 years that Indians can call themselves free…but freedom in true sense still eludes us. It’s time we start feeling free from heart, free from age old practices of discrimination, free from caste and religious divide – free as a butterfly.

In this creation, which I aptly called, FLY FREE, is a multi-fold card dedicated to those who are truly free. I have symbolized the freedom with the Butterfly – a glorious creation of Almighty which not only stands for colors and joy but also symbolizes a miraculous transformation and resurrection.

This card is made using “Mudra” stamps. The wide variety of Mudra stamps is a boon for all crafters. The cute stamps of butterfly and the girl on the swing really motivated me for this creation.

In this card I have also used a novel technique which would create an image of the butterflies FLYING FREELY in AIR.

I hope you like this creation of mine and would make your similar creation using Mudra stamps. Please let me know how you liked my FLY FREE creation.
