One stampset 5 cards with Hearts bg builder set

Hi everyone,
Riswana here with you. Today I'll be sharing another "one stampset 5 cards" post, this time using the hearts background builder stampset.
I've used almost a similar layout on all the cards but a different technique in each one. So let's get on to the "technique" heavy post :)

Card 1:  Repeat stamping

There is a "strip of hearts" in the stampset which makes creating background a piece of cake.
I don't have a stamp positioning tool or acrylic block with grid.. So I used my Tim Holtz ruler for stamping the hearts & it was super easy.
Stamped the heart strip on white bg with memento tuxedo black ink.
Inked a separate piece of cardstock with spun sugar DI & stamped the solid heart strip with worn lipstick DI
I made a vellum shaker pouch again by using Tim Holtz ruler to make the holes.. I was always scared of sewing but I found this way to be so easy & i loved the results.
Gold embossed the sentiment & mounted using foam tape & it's Done.

Card 2: Shape stamping

Draw & Cut out a heart from a post it note.    Using the negative space as template, stamp the little hearts using different shades of pink & red inks. Make sure to vary the size of the hearts & shades of ink everytime for a more random look.
While the mask is still in place, apply versamark ink. (Used the mini cube so I applied directly)
Remove the mask & heat emboss with clear embossing powder. I totally love this cool look.!
Stamp the sentiment, add some rhinestones to finish off the card.

Card 3: Emboss resist

Randomly stamp the little hearts with versamark ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Apply distress inks (I used salty ocean, peacock feathers, dusty concord) with ink blending tool.
Add splotches of water with hands (can use mister as well) and buff off with paper towel.
Add sentiment banner and sequins to finish the card.

Card 4: No line coloring with solid stamps

Stamp the largest solid heart image repeatedly on a piece of water color paper with spun sugar DI.
Add more colors on top using water brush with worn lipstick, spiced marmalade, mustard seed DIs
Add water splotches. Paint the background with dilute black soot DI adding shadows beneath the hearts.
Add white splashes of gesso. Heat emboss sentiment on a vellum strip & add some clear sequins to complete the card.

Card 5: Paper piecing

Stamp the outline heart images in rows over the card base with black dye ink.
Stamp the same on different pattern papers. Fussy cut & stick them on the card base.
With embossing pen, draw lines between the hearts and heat emboss with platinum sparkle EP to form the strings.
Stamp with pigment ink & heat emboss the sentiment with clear EP.
Add some sequins to finish the card.

These are super simple & fun cards which can be customized to any occasion. So heart stamps doesn't limit to just Love cards. The possibilities are endless.
Hope you liked them & found the steps helpful.
