This is Gayatri, back with another set of creations with stamps of Mudra May release.
I have made few bookmarks and a tag. So let us get straight into it.
Bookmark - 1
- Stamped the image with Memento Black ink onto white Bielo CS and colored it with Zig color brush pens. Took another strip of CS, stamped sentiment with Memento ink, folded the end at 1/2 inch and stuck to the main panel. Layered the panel with Blue Fabriano Elle Erre CS.
- Stamped the sentiment with Memento Black ink. Made a negative masking by cutting a square with die and inked with DI wild honey. Stamped the image randomly around the sentiment and added a yellow CS a bit longer than the bookmark. Cut the edge of the yellow CS with design scissors and added a tassel at the top to hold the the two pieces.
- Made a corner bookmark. Stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Inked the area with DI twisted citron on side and candied apple on the other. Lightly buffed the stamped area to remove any ink on the embossing.
This stamp is so beautiful and perfect to be used in MM, cards or tags. I tried a shabby chic/ mixed media tag with Ria.
I stamped the image with Memento black ink. Colored her hair with Zig color pens. For her dress I used Derwent Inktense pencil and Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen to get a sheen on her dress (unfortunately effect not captured on camera). I took a Prima tag and cut it required size, layered with different design paper. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo DI. Added a die cut, lace and word embellishment. I colored flowers from dainty blooms with Zig color brush pens, fussy cut them and added them to the tag. Added a polka dot organza ribbon to complete the tag.
Few more pictures in order to capture the shimmer.....
