Its me Sathya, today with second set of inspirations using our March Release stampsets.
Hope my Teamie Dr. Ponmalar has inspired you well enough to try her stamp designs.
From my end, i have come up with some Abstract creations using various stamps for each project. Today's post highlights on various stamps and their perfect sync with each other.
Here we go!!
Card 1
Background made using Vintagy Florish stampset :)
- Took A2 sized ivory cardbase.
- Stamped Vintagy florish stamps all over the card base using Rich cocoa momento ink .
- Took a circle diecut from a polkadot pp and topped up with stamped polka dots butterfly using Archival sepia ink.
- Butterfly jus matched aptly with the diecut polka pp.
- Sentiment is from Butterfly flutters stamp set.
- Few peach pearls for the accents.
Stampsets Used:
Butterfly flutters
Vintagy Fluorish
Polka dots Butterfly
Card 2
Borders made using Vintagy Fluorish :)
- Took a 5" square ivory cardbase.
- Stamped 2 designs of Vintagy flourish on the corners as borders.
- Took small butterflies from Butterfly flutters stampset, colored using Zig real color brush pens, spritzed with mini mister and stamped on Canson watercolor paper and fussy cut it. This gives such loose watercolored effect.
- Same way, to get a two tone effect on sentiment, took "Celebrate" from Brushed sentiment set, colored in 2 colors of blue, using Zig real color brush pens and spritzed with water and stamped on the cardbase centrally.
- Seems like blotchy look...yet i love it...as i intended that!!
- Lets enjoy bit of artsy mind embracing the imperfections :D
Stamp sets used:
Floral Tag:
- Took Sizzix Timholtz largest tag die, and diecut in kraft cs.
- Stamped Vintagy flourish as borders using Archival Sepia ink.
- Took a Timholt watercolor paper, on smooth side, stamped Floral silhouette on either side of the white front panel.
- Heat embossed using Ranger -UTEE clear embossing powder.
- Picked raspberry and Mustard seed DIs were sponged on either side on the embossed florals.
- Butterfly is stamped using Archival black ink, colored using metallic gelatos and heat embossed using Ranger UTEE clear embossing powder. Popped using foam adhesives on the front panel.
- Sentiment from Brushed Sentiments, stamped on polka dot pp using Archival sepia ink, popped using foam adhesive.
- Simple yellow polka dot ribbon tied to finish off the card.
