Hi everyone
Riswana here today. Thank you very much for the awesome feedback & love. It encourages us to do more & get better.
Are you ready for the second round of inspiration ?? Here we go..
Today I'll be sharing five cards using the "Let's Party" stamp set I designed..
This set is very versatile & offer so many possibilities. Gear up for the super lengthy post.!!
Card 1:
I used "paper piecing" technique for the cake with red & green pattern papers. Added some shading with markers & details with uniball signo white gel pen.
Layered them using foam adhesive for the 3D look.
On the cardbase i stamped the cake image & then the stars & lines randomly..
Adhered the cake & fussy cut stars with tacky glue. Stamped the sentiment with memento tuxedo black ink & stuck the remaining stars around.
With this color combo, it can easily pass off as a holiday card, what say!
Card 2:
For this card I wanted a 'poster on a wall' sort of look to go with the keep calm quote.
The cake is stamped separately in cardstock, colored with Uniball posca yellow & pink markers (some shading with my sketch pens) & details added with white gel pen. Fussy cut & added wink of stella clear glitter & glossy accents.
Quote is stamped on PP & heat embossed with White EP. Sponged the edges with peacock feathers DI.
Layered with tacky tape & foam tape.
Card 3:
This is a Quick & easy card. I stamped the party caps 1,2,4 with memento london fog ink & colored using black water color pencil.
For the colored one, i first stamped with memento Tangelo & Dandelion inks. Then I added more color with markers..
Sentiment stamped with tuxedo balck ink & finished off by adding wink of stella & glossy accents.
Card 4:
Watercolored using distress inks (worn lipstick, dusty concord, peacock feathers)
Then I added shading with grey & black markers to make the elements to pop out. (Luv this effect)
Applied DI black soot on the edges & mounted on the black cardbase.
Added faux stitches with white gel pen & finished off by adding few clear sequins.
Card 5:
Firework crackers from party cap?! Why not?! I embossed the base, the stars & sentiment with gold & platinum sparkle EPs.
Added the sparks with metallic gel pens. I also gold embossed the edges of a CS to match this panel & layered everything with tacky tape & foam tape. Now we have a totally off season Diwali card ;)
Here's a round up of all the five cards.

This is a shaped card which am trying for the first time :) I used circular objects lying around my craft room for templates..
Took a circle of 3" dia Brustro watercolor paper, heat embossed the sentiment & the confetti around.. Watercolored using distress inks (worn lipstick, dusty concord, peacock feathers)
